For a change of pace (and to put his vocal range
to the test!) Jeffrey has played the lead role in several productions of Jesus Christ Superstar including performances at
the renowned Bucks County Playhouse, New Hope, PA and the historic Keswick Theatre, in Glenside PA - annual sold-out shows
seen by close to 10,000 people each year! His debut CD, "Fire in the Night," was produced by Bill Kollar who
has worked with such artists as Shawn Colvin, Livingston Taylor, John Gorka and Christine Lavin. Jeffrey also gets some
help on the CD from people like Cliff Eberhardt and Seamus Egan (of the band "Solas" and co-writer of "I Will
Remember You" with Sarah McLachlan). "Fire in the Night" has received glowing reviews including
listings as a top-ten album of the year. His song "Milky Way" was included on the soundtrack of the
multi-award winning indy feature film "One Take."
Originally
from New Jersey (with a strong musical base across the river in Philadelphia), Jeffrey now hails from the pastoral Berkshire
Hills of Western Massachusetts.
Jeffrey's "acoustic
singer-songwriter" music falls somewhere between contemporary folk and soft-rock, with a hint of pop and perhaps a tiny
dash of cross-over country (fit that in the CD category bin!). He has had his share of the proverbial comparisons to
many other artists: Kenny Loggins, Roy Orbison, Dave Matthews, Dan Fogelberg, Lyle Lovett, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills, Nash,
James Taylor, Cat Stevens and even a male version of k.d.Lang, Mary Chapin Carpenter, or Shawn Colvin… but Jeffrey
is truly a force unto his own.
With his clear voice and
commanding stage presence, Jeffrey's shows sparkle with passion and energy. Whether singing rich ballads of love
lost or love gained, up tempo tunes of environmental or social issues, or songs of off-beat humor, Jeffrey always manages
to sing straight from the heart!
